Humble, a systematic thinker, and patient educator, are just a few words used to describe John Bannan. As the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of ComhlaTech Limited, John is responsible for leading a dynamic predictive analytics and pattern recognition firm focused on helping investors make educated decisions, aiming to reduce their risk in the market. John’s trading style is 100% systematic, with strenuous testing and research performed prior to any external launch of a system, he says.

Following his degree in Business Management in Glasgow, and his work as a Market Analyst in the UK in the 1990’s, John worked as a self-employed trader. He spent much of his own time and money on trading education and has built algorithms on multiple trading platforms.

John co-founded the stock market education company HowDoITradeStocks.com in 2011, and over the years has developed a loyal following of retail and professional traders, he says. In 2020, John’s trading success led him to launch ComhlaTech.com, where he currently enjoys a steady track record through predictive analysis and market forecasting.

John is a native of Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 2003. In his free time, he is a loving husband and devoted father of three children, three cats and a dog. He enjoys soccer, boxing, and reading industry trade magazines and books.

With over two decades of experience in the financial industry, John says he has garnered expertise building, trading and improving fully-automated trading systems.
